1. What is the main difference between this 'Economy' panel and the 'Standard' CFP panel?
The Economy panel (CFP702E-4) has limited engineering functions and cannot be expanded with CFP repeaters, relay cards, or EN54-13 interface cards, unlike the Standard version .
2. How many detectors can I connect to this 2-zone panel?
You can connect up to 25 detectors per zone, or a combined total of 32 detectors and manual call points per zone, allowing for a maximum of 64 devices across both zones .
3. What size batteries does this panel support?
The panel supports up to two 12V 3.2Ah VRLA batteries connected in series, which fit within the enclosure. The minimum recommended battery size is 1.2Ah .
4. Can I mount this panel flush into a wall?
Yes, the panel is supplied in an attractive enclosure suitable for both surface and flush mounting. For flush mounting, a hole of 367mm (W) x 220mm (H) x 75mm (D) is required .
5. Is this panel compatible with third-party detectors?
While it is fully compatible with C-TEC's ActiV range , for compliance and reliable operation, it is always recommended to use detectors specified by the manufacturer or consult the installation manual.
