Refund & Returns Policy – SSM Electric

At SSM Electric, we want you to feel confident when purchasing from us. If something isn’t right, we will do our best to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.

30-Day Returns

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

• items must be unused and in original condition
• all packaging and accessories must be included
• proof of purchase is required

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a partial refund.


Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will:

• provide troubleshooting support where appropriate
• offer a replacement where possible
• issue a full refund if the item cannot be replaced

If a fault is confirmed, we will reimburse reasonable return postage costs.

All returned items may be inspected before a refund or replacement is issued.


Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind, you may return the item within 30 days provided it is unused and in resaleable condition.

• Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
• We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for lost returns.


Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

• installed or used electrical items
• customised or special-order products
• items damaged due to incorrect installation or misuse

This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty.


Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

• approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
• refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days
• your bank may take additional time to process the payment

If a returned item shows signs of use, damage, or missing parts, a deduction may be applied.


Returns After 30 Days

After 30 days, faulty products may still be covered under manufacturer warranty.

If a fault develops within 12 months and is not caused by misuse or wear and tear, we will assist with repair, replacement, or warranty support.
